Volodymyr Zelensky addresses UN General Assembly
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has unveiled his comprehensive 10-point peace plan in a bid to bring lasting peace to war-torn Ukraine.
Almost one year after its presentation at the Group of 20 (G20) summit held in November 2022, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said the plan is the “only game in town”.
Speaking at a press conference after a meeting EU foreign ministers in Kyiv, Borrell said the summit served as “a strong message to Russia that we are not intimidated by your missiles or your drones”.
Zelenky’s plan, which has garnered international attention, outlines a series of strategic initiatives aimed at resolving the conflict, ensuring security, and restoring normalcy in the region.
