Insane footage shows Israeli soldiers in school shootout with Hamas terrorists

Hamas killers chase down fleeing Israelis

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released footage of its soldiers battling Hamas terrorists in a Gaza school.

The conflict continues following the surprise attack by Hamas on October 7, which claimed the lives of 1,200 Israeli civilians.

Israeli troops have been conducting numerous ground operations since the attack, and have also launched heavy airstrikes on Gaza.

Hamas claims that over 12,000 people have died in Gaza as a result.

In the IDF video, soldiers can be seen engaging with Hamas fighters during a night-time operation. Other clips show Israeli troops navigating through the narrow streets of Gaza, firing from high buildings and tight alleyways.

One clip even shows a gunfight taking place in a school classroom.

According to the IDF, they have targeted around 70 Hamas sites during the ground offensive, including observation posts, missile launch sites, and terrorist cells.

The IDF’s Maglan unit, along with other forces from the Commando Brigade, discovered weapons in a Hamas member’s home and found two tunnel shafts next to a school. The Maglan unit specialises in operating deep within enemy territory.

While the fighting continues in Gaza, it could soon come to an end. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has suggested that a truce with Hamas could be imminent. This deal could lead to the release of 50 Israeli hostages and a pause in the fighting, according to sources.

Mr Netanyahu stated: “We are making progress. I don’t think it’s worth saying too much, not at even this moment, but I hope there will be good news soon.”

Ismail Haniyeh, the top political leader of Hamas, hinted that a ceasefire is near.

He declared: “We are close to reaching a deal on a truce.”

Mr Netanyahu has scheduled a series of government meetings for Tuesday evening “in light of developments on the issue of the release of our hostages”. It seems likely that Israel will give the green light to a ceasefire.
