Seven injured and two in serious condition after vicious Madrid nightclub attack

Madrid emergency services treat seven men – two with serious injuries

Several people were left injured after a mass brawl erupted inside a popular nightclub in Madrid, Spain’s capital city.

Violence exploded in the early hours of Saturday at a nightclub located in Azca, Madrid’s financial district located on the northern edge of the capital’s city centre, Emergencias Madrid reported on X, formerly Twitter.

As a result of the fight, seven men aged between 18 and 45 were left injured.

Three of the casualties were rushed to hospital – two in serious conditions. 

Among them, a 27-year-old man was reportedly transferred to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in “potentially serious” condition after he suffered head and facial trauma.

Another person also aged 27 is said to have been taken to La Paz Hospital with a stab wound to the left side of his abdomen.

The third man hospitalised on Saturday morning as a result of the brawl was aged 45.

Taken to Gregorio Marañón Hospital, he reportedly suffered a minor stab wound in the groin.

Other four men, aged 18, 19, 20 and 30, were treated on the scene of the incident by paramedics, local news outlets claimed.

The Spanish National Police have launched an investigation into the stabbing and is being supported in the probe by officers part of the Madrid Municipal Police.
