A horror plane crash in Brazil has killed all 14 people on board, according to local reports.
It is understood the aircraft, believed to be an Embraer EMB-110P1, was transporting tourists from the US to the Barcelos region in Amazonas when it was downed in the afternoon local time today (Saturday, September 16).
A spokesperson for Barcelos city hall said 12 passengers were killed, as well as the pilot and co-pilot.

Meanwhile the governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima, said the plane took off from Manaus bound for Marcelos, about 400km away from the crash site.
The secretary of the Civil Defense of Amazonas issued a statement confirming the tragedy and said a response team has been dispatched to the scene.
Footage taken at the crash site shows the plane smashed up as responders observe the scene.
Posting the clip to X, a Brazilian news outlet wrote: "Visual recording of an air accident reported recently in the municipality of Barcelos, in Amazonas, involving a private EMBRAER EMB-110P1 aircraft (registration PT-SOG) that belonged to an air taxi company.

"The accident reportedly left 14 people dead, including crew and passengers (locally speaking of American tourists)."
The area where the plane crashed is a popular holiday hotspot, particularly with tourists who are keen on fishing.
However the weather conditions were not ideal for flying and it is thought the pilot may have made a mistake when laying out the landing strip, portalt5.com reported.
The victims' bodies have been removed from the scene and are being taken to an auditorium at a local school. Their identities have not yet been revealed but their remains are set to be transported back to families on Sunday.
