One of the most terrifying predictions from famous psychic Baba Vanga is 43 years away from apparently coming true.

Despite the legendary Bulgarian woman having been dead for some time – since 1996, in fact – people are still scrambling to hear what she had to say. And one of her big ones is still some way off, meaning it will be hanging over humanity until 2066.

Let's all hope it's not true. Others are a lot closer with next year, 2024, allegedly going to see an assassination and a financial crisis.

Born in 1911, meaning is still being applied to her prophecies with one for 2043 claiming that Europe would become majority Islamic. This will precede the 2066 prediction, which claims the US will besiege Italy's capital Rome according to VICE.

The wild theorising doesn’t end there, however, with the mystic claiming that during the attack, the US will incorporate a weapon called an “environmental destructor” supposedly able to freeze anything in its way. What this means exactly isn’t clear, although it doesn’t sound like a big hug and a pat on the back.

As is always the case with Baba Vanga, it can be hard to work out whether or not she actually said it, but that doesn’t mean that she didn’t. The trouble comes from the morphing and whispers clouding what was her and what was conflated nonsense made up through word of mouth.

She has predictions running until 5079, the year she reckons the world will go kaput, although many of her so-called prophecies have failed to come true so you should still take that one with a pinch of salt. Often, ignored prophecies go under the radar, which only serves to fan the fires of those among us who think what she is saying is real.
