Israel is to show body worn camera footage from Hamas “death squads” in a bid to prove the scale of the atrocities committed in the group’s shock attack.
Eylon Levy, an Israeli government spokesman, told his social media followers on Sunday (October 22) the world is witnessing a “Holocaust denial-like phenomenon” unfolding in real time.
He added: “So tomorrow, Israel will screen for foreign journalists the raw, unedited footage of Hamas’ atrocities in the October 7 Massacre, as captured by its death squads’ body cams.”
More than 1,400 people in Israel have been killed — mostly civilians slain during the initial Hamas attack – since the start of the war. At least 212 people were captured and dragged back to Gaza by Hamas gunmen.
More than 4,600 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry, as a result of Israeli strikes on the Palestinian territory.

In a shocking clip shared on X, formerly Twitter, Mr Levy said the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have been collecting from body cameras taken by Hamas “death squads” as they rampaged through communities in southern Israel, “butchering everyone in their sight”.
He added: “Now unfortunately – and I can’t believe I’m saying this, and I can’t believe as a country we are having to do this as we work to defeat the terror organisations that brutalised our people – we are witnessing a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon evolving in real time as people are casting doubt on the magnitude of the atrocities that Hamas committed against our people and, in fact, recorded in order to glorify that violence.”
Mr Levy explained the Israeli Government will on Monday (October 23) screen “gruesome” unseen footage of the barbarities perpetrated against people on October 7.
The spokesman continued: “It will screen a compilation of raw and unedited footage from the October 7 massacre for journalists who can stomach the horrific truth and want to report on what they see.”

Israel’s move comes amid criticism over how some sections of the media have reported its latest conflict with Hamas and as both sides engage in a propaganda war.
The BBC has been under fire for failing to describe Hamas as terrorists, while a blast at a hospital in Gaza which killed scores of people, including many children, was swiftly attributed to Israel by some outlets despite the subsequent emergence of evidence to the contrary.
Recent polling by YouGov shows Britons are divided as to how supportive the British Government should be towards Israel, with 22 percent believing the UK should be more critical of Tel Aviv.
