Terrifying video shows the horrific injuries sustained by locals caught in the onslaught of a volcano eruption which left 11 hikers dead.
The horrifying footage shows extensively burned survivors pleading for help at Mount Marapi, Indonesia on Sunday.
A terrified Zhafirah Zahrim Febrina, 19, can be seen speaking on the phone in a clip shared by her family after she was brought to the hospital.
Referring to herself in the third person using a nickname, she said: “Mum, help Ife. This is Ife’s situation right now.”
Her mother Rani Radelani, 39, said she is experiencing a lot of pain and has been left psychologically scarred after seeing the burns the volcano eruption caused.

Radelani said: “She is going through a tremendous trauma. She is affected psychologically because she saw her burns, and she also had to endure the pain all night.”
In another video, another young girl identified as 20-year-old Yashirli can be seen with thick dirt and ash covering her face, hair and clothes.
The bodies of 11 climbers were recovered earlier on Monday but attempts to relocate them were hindered by the renewed activity, West Sumatra’s Search and Rescue Agency head Abdul Malik said.
About 75 climbers had started their way up the nearly 2,900-metre (9,480-foot) mountain on Saturday and became stranded.
Authorities rescued 52, including three on Monday. Eight of those rescued Sunday were rushed to hospital with burns and one suffered a broken limb, said Hari Agustian, an official at the local Search and Rescue Agency in Padang, the West Sumatra provincial capital.
