A young lad was rushed to hospital after being bitten by a dog, thought to be an XL Bully.
The incident, which took place on Saturday (November 18), led to the arrest of a man. The boy and an adult were seen walking down Cedar Street in Blackburn around lunchtime when they were approached by the dog near a local mosque.
Video footage shows the adult trying to free the boy from the dog's grip while two others rush to help after the dog was seen darting out from the side of a nearby house.

One bloke can be seen trying to pry open the dog's mouth to free the lad after it latched on to the youngster's coat, while another runs off to try and find someone for extra help during the chaotic situation.
The video ends while the attack was still ongoing, so the extent of the boy's injuries are not full known. The police were alerted at 12.30pm and the boy was taken to hospital for treatment. Details about his injuries have not been released.
A 27 year old bloke from Blackburn was arrested and has since been released on bail. In a statement, a spokesman for the force told LancsLive: "The dog which at this time we believe is an XL Bulldog type has been seized."
