The owners of a cat have been left devastated after it was "ripped to pieces" by an XL bully dog.
A Ring Doorbell captured footage of the attack as it happened, with the audio capturing the horrific sounds of the event. In the clip, the dog is seen off its lead running into a front garden and pouncing on the cat. The owner runs behind attempting to catch up with the dog while screaming for him to stop.
The footage shows the owner of the XL Bully frantically trying to pull the dog off of the cat while he attacks her. Eventually, the owner manages to get the lead back on the dog and apologises to the owner of the cat before saying "the cat’s okay."

However, it was far from okay as the beloved five-year-old feline called Kiwi died just minutes later after being savaged. Owner Nima Begum said he was devastated and shaken up after the incident in Norwich last weekend.
The mum-of-five said she had been inside getting her son, aged three, ready to go walk and get an ice cream on the sunny day. Before leaving, she heard yells directly outside and decided to go investigate.
Running to a window on the upper level of her home, she caught sight of a man in her front garden attempting to restrain a massive dog. Nima claims to have seen the XL Bully’s mouth was covered in blood and the owner started apologising to her, saying “I’m so sorry, he came off the lead.”
He then proceeded to say “your cat is fine.”
Nima rushed downstairs to discover Kiwi “ripped to pieces.”
She then said the cat died just minutes later in her daughter’s arms. "It all happened in seconds,” said Nima.

"I was absolutely frightened and my cat was ripped into pieces. I have seen that dog off the lead every day for a few months. It could have been the dog attacking my three-year-old boy.
"My biggest worry is not just about my child, but for the school nearby. I am so scared to take my boy to the nursery across the road.”
Norfolk Police said they are investigating the attack.
