A notoriously friendly gimp says latex lovers, like Hell’s Angels bikers, can be a force for good – not all fiddle with themselves in bushes.

The self-proclaimed Gimp Man of Essex has spoken to the Daily Star off the back of 'Somerset Gimp' gardener, Joshua Hunt being banned from “crawling, wriggling, or writing on the ground”. Our East of England Over local admits dressing up as a gimp is something of a harmless fetish he uses to raise money for the charity.

“Not wishing to sound crude, they're not necessarily standing there fiddling with themselves, but they're probably getting a little bit of excitement if you know what I mean,” he explained. “They get their little buzz out of it and whatnot… if you’re going to do it, do it in the correct way. If you’re worried about doing it near the home then go to another town.”

The Gimp Man acknowledged that even in his situation, dressing up in latex as he does is “a fetish,” but was keen to explain that this wasn’t always as it seemed. For him, donning latex was more like taking a “chill pill,” rather than what many might assume.

“About 10 years ago, when I started doing it, you probably was a peculiar deviant,” he explained. And that was always my little thing I used to say, you know, ‘never judge a book by its cover,’ because people then say, ‘well actually with me he’s quite a nice guy. We had a chat and done this and done that – he might be a bit strange, but he's right.’”

The Gimp Man of Essex then drew an unexpected parallel, noting: “It’s a bit like seeing a load of Hell’s Angels and they sort of help charities and things like that. They’re not necessarily horrible people because they… ride motorbikes.”
