Calls for Sussexes to have titles stripped after explosive Omid Scobie book

Fans of the Royal Family are coming out in unison to sayPrince Harry and Meghan Markle should have their royal titles ditched.

Fuming members of the public called on the duo to lose their official titles after the publication of Omid Scobie's latest book, Endgame. Bob Seely, a Conservative member of parliament added his voice to the campaign.

The book has faced numerous controversies as the names of Royal Family members who allegedly questioned the colour of Meghan and Harry's son were featured in the Dutch edition, which has since been removed from shelves.

Scobie is adamant he did not put the names in there on purpose.

But the backlash has led to calls for Harry and Meghan to have Sussexes their titles stripped from them. An internal investigation at Buckingham Palace showed the leak had not come from the Firm.

Furious comments left on a TalkTV video showed a real contempt for the Sussex duo, with one claiming the pair had "deliberately tormented the Royal Family for years".

Another claimed: "Yes, they are never in UK and do nothing for us. He will be prince always, but they are not worthy of a British title."

A source close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle say the pair see "no upside" to the current quarrel between themselves and the Royal Family.

A source said: "This is truly incredibly unfortunate…There’s no upside here for anyone." Another source close to the duo claimed Meghan had "never intended them to be publicly identified".

Said source also says the names of the royals in question were "not leaked to Scobie by anyone in her camp". A Dutch translation of Endgame had alleged it was Princess Kate and King Charles III who had questioned the skin colour of the Sussex duo's first baby, Archie.
