Sir Ed Davey was tipped into the sea today as he went kayaking during the party’s autumn conference in Bournemouth.
The Lib Dem leader got into the small boat in Sandbanks near Bournemouth alongside MP Wendy Chamberlain for a photo op.
But parliamentary candidate Josh Babarinde sent both MPs plunging into the water as he tipped over the yellow vessel.
The Lib Dem leader laughed as he surfaced from the water.
The trio were joined by Roz Savage, a Guinness World Record holder who became the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans.
