GB News: Nigel Farage returns to show
Nigel Farage has threatened war with ITV if it bosses try to maintain their attempts to discredit him.
The GB News host and former Brexit Party leader issued the warning in his first interview back on GB news after his stint in the jungle in Australia taking part in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Farage had not long before learnt for the first time of the attempt by ITV bosses to try to brand him “a racist” while he was on their show and contractually unable to respond to allegations.
The alleged scheme only fell apart because Express.co.uk revealed attempts by ITV news’ invetigations department to run a story claiming Farage was a racist on the day voting started on I’m a Celebrity.
Friends of the political heavyweight were convinced it was an attempt to sabotage his attempt to become King of the Jungle after wowing millions of viewers many of whom do not normally engage in politics.
It was later claimed the apparent plot would have broken Ofcom broadcast rules.

In the end Farage made it to the final despite being apparently cut out of live coverage at times and other attempts to lessen his popularity.
Viewers put him in third place on the final day and Mr Farage has said he thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
But on hearing of the alleged ITV plot and rude gestures made about him by ITV’s head of television Kevin Lygo, he had a simple message: “Stop or it will be war.”
He reminded Lygo and other senior figures at ITV what happened to the last woke boss to take him on.
NatWest’s chief executive Dame Alison Rose, who was at the heart of attempts to close down his Coutt’s bank account, has since lost her job and much of her payout.

Farage said: “It seems whilst I was in there one or two people at the top of ITV wanted to make life uite unpleasant to me.”
He said he had no complainst about the I’m a Celebrity production clue and insisted he did not “want to ruin the warm glow” he was feeling after going on the show.
But his message to Lygo was clear.
“It’s up to you mate. If you want to go to war with me you really can. But the last person to do that was called Dame Alison Rose from NatWest bank and look what happened to her.”
He added: “So I would suggest Mr Lygo that I am prepared to ignore your rude one handed gestures and the pathetic attempts by some of your staff to stitch me up.
“If you really want to go to war with me I don’t think it will do ITV’s share price n awful lot of good.
“So let’s please end the nonsense and let’s do it now.”
