The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is expected to be unveiled on November 1, 2023.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan has been in the news for quite some time now. Ever since the first spy images appeared on the internet, there have been reports indicating that the ADV could use a slightly larger capacity engine than the current 411cc unit. Latest rumours suggest that the bike could be called the Himalayan 452.
As per the latest reports, the Himalayan 452 could be powered by a 451.65cc single-cylinder engine producing 39.47 BHP @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is likely to be mated with a 6-speed gearbox.
The report also reveals details of the bike’s chassis and suspension. The Himalayan 452 is said to have a wheelbase of 1,510 mm, which is slightly longer than the current model. Length is also said to have increased to 2,245 mm, while width has gone up to 852 mm.
The Himalayan 452 is expected to be equipped with an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. It will ride on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels with disc brakes at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS.
