The Ninja 500 and Z500 share their parallel-twin engine with the Eliminator 500.
Kawasaki has revealed two new middleweight bikes, the Ninja 500 and Z500 at EICMA 2023 in Milan, Italy.
The Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Z500 are based on a lightweight trellis frame and are said to offer reassuring handling and easy reach to the ground for A2 license holders.
The Ninja 500 and its naked counterpart, the Z500, share the same engine. It is a 451cc parallel-twin unit which also powers the Eliminator 500. According to Kawasaki, this engine has a wider torque band and a lower redline than the Ninja 400. The bikemaker hasn’t revealed the exact specifications of the engine though.
The bikes are equipped with an LCD instrument console, while the SE versions get Bluetooth connectivity and a USB-C charging port. The higher variant also gets keyless ignition, among other features.
