Ather Energy has identified markets in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Europe for its future expansion.
Ather Energy has announced its entry into the Nepalese electric scooter market. The Bangalore-based EV startup has partnered with Vaidya Energy to introduce the 450X in Nepal.
Ather Energy, along with its partner, has set up a retail showroom in Kathmandu, which will be open to the public next month. The company will offer its entire range of 450X e-scooters in Nepal.
The 450X is available with a 2.9 kWh battery powering a 6.4 kW motor. This combination has a range of 111 km. It can also be paired with a 3.7 kWh battery, offering a 150 km range. It can be charged in 5 hours and 45 minutes.
With the Pro Pack, the 450X gets five riding modes: SmartEco, Eco, Ride, Sport and Warp. It also gets features like guide-me-home lights, coasting regen, navigation, two / theft notifications, ride stats, and inter-city parking; among others.
Ather Energy has identified markets in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Europe for its future expansion. The company is reportedly planning to set up a new manufacturing facility to expand its production capacity.
