Big names in Benidorm have been paying tribute to icon Sticky Vicky after the 80-yar-old sex show star passed away yesterday. Locals have demanded that the performer and "wonderful person" be honoured with a plaque or star in the Spanish town.

Legend Victoria María Aragüés Gadea was known for her extreme ping pong shows – where she shoots balls out of her vagina – which she performed for 35 years in the Spanish town. Her daughter has since taken over the show and added in gymnastics and extra flair.

Exotic dancer Sticky Vicky had been unwell for some time and died of heart failure at about 6am on Wednesday November 29, her family confirmed. The famous star has since been honoured by Benidorm entertainment workers as they mourn her loss.

Frank, @frankthestagman,, is known for throwing extreme stag dos featuring strippers and raunchy acts in the party town. He and his partner extreme sex show performer Jade Benidorm spoke to the Daily Star about Sticky Vicky’s impact on Benidorm as a holiday destination.

Frank said: "It’s pretty horrible in Benidorm today, because from the public’s point of view she was a very famous person, a classic part of Benidorm’s growth. From mine and Jade’s point of view, we were sitting in her house just four weeks ago filming with her. She wasn’t well, but there’s a difference between being unwell and dying. Yesterday was crazy, it was like some sort of bad joke."

The stag do organiser is also pushing for a memorial to honour the performer in the form of a plaque or star in one of Benidorm’s squares. He claims that acts like Sticky Vicky’s were what set Benidorm apart from other towns in the region and from the capital Alicante.

He added: "She was such an important part of what has grown Benidorm into what it is. Back in the day, it was just another coastal town and there’s hundreds up and down the coast. All the others have sunshine and beaches. You’ve got Alicante, the capital, which is huge and has all the resources, it’s beautiful. But, Benidorm came up and the answer is simple – what Benidorm needed all those years ago was something for people to talk about, something that people were going to come and want to see.

"Her show in that day and age was just unbelievable. You would never have imagined a show like that could have existed back when people were more conservative. But she came up and Benidorm came up. She came here with a great idea. She did it. Everybody wanted to come and see it and even today, I move hundreds of groups a week, and still people mention Sticky Vicky all the time.

"I've always wondered why there’s not a plaque or anything in any part of Benidorm’s squares. I’d request that they should at least put a star somewhere on the ground because they all know that she’s amazing. All these hotels are built off the back of the success of Benidorm and that success didn’t come from the sunshine. She’s a big part of our history."

Jade added: "You have to see her show when you're in Benidorm. Even now, her daughter has taken over the show to honour her mother."

Frank and partner Jade have been producing a show interviewing the biggest stars of Benidorm which will feature the icon talking about her rise to fame. the pair are some of the only people to visit Sticky Vicky at home.

Frank claims that he was intimidated to ask the star to take part in the production and said: "I told her, 'You were the first person on my list and the last person I asked' because I was scared to ask. I said, 'To us, you’re a hero, you’re top of the tree'. If they’d have said no it would have been a bit devastating."

The show – Benidorm: The Greatest Story Never Told – is set to be released on December 21 on their website Stagman.TV. the first episode, named 'Before Sticky', will feature the legend in her own home alongside her daughter, Maria, who continues her mother's show in honour of the original performer.
