Europe\u2019s cheapest Christmas market has been revealed according to fresh research – with one person saying it was \u201cperfect\u201d.<\/p>\n

Christmas is just six weeks away, and in half that time the Romanian town of Sibiu, in Transylvania, will open its doors to its famous market.<\/p>\n

The market, called Fair, has been labelled the cheapest in Europe by travel money specialists at eurochange.<\/p>\n

Laura Evans, head of Digital and Engagement at eurochange, said the market was one of the best \u201cif you\u2019re looking for value for money and a truly authentic experience\u201d.<\/p>\n

The decision was made on factors like the local exchange rate, hotel and flight prices.<\/p>\n

Evans revealed hotels can cost \u201cless than \u00a320 per person, per night\u201d, and a mulled wine can be \u201cless than \u00a32\u201d – something \u201cpretty much unheard of in the UK\u201d.<\/p>\n

The pretty little Christmas market will play host to both an ice skating rink and a Ferris wheel, as well as lots of beautiful wooden huts selling gorgeous gifts and cakes like Romanian Panettone and chimney cakes.<\/p>\n

Opening on November 17 until January 2 and free to enter, visitors can enjoy the magical festival lights and youngsters can meet Father Christmas.<\/p>\n

The picturesque Christmas market garnered some favourable reviews on Tripadvisor too.<\/p>\n
