The average price of a pint at a British pub is now a whopping \u00a36.09.<\/p>\n<p>While Iceland has Europe\u2019s most expensive pints at \u00a38.33, many London pubs aren\u2019t far behind. But where are Europe\u2019s cheapest pints?<\/p>\n<p>Rosie Panter, travel expert at dealchecker, said: \u201cWhilst the UK doesn\u2019t have the highest average price for a pint in Europe, if you\u2019re anything like me, you too will have felt personally victimised by the rising cost.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor many the idea of a cheeky half or three is now limited to special occasions and vacations. At just 89p a pint, beer is sometimes cheaper than water in the Hungarian city.<\/p>\n<p>Rosie said: \u201cExpect elegant shops, a cultural centre filled with archaeological artefacts, and of course, stretches of bars and pubs where you can take advantage of great value drinks.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife<\/h3>\n<p>A British favourite, Tenerife is home to Europe\u2019s second cheapest pint. Beers start at just \u00a32 in the beachy Portuguese spot.<\/p>\n<p>Rosie said: \u201cThe Algarve is synonymous with azure waters, sunshine, delicious food and affordable drinking boltholes.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Zagreb, Croatia<\/h3>\n<p>The Croatian capital comes in fourth place for pints. The average cost of a pint in the capital is a bargain at under \u00a32.50.<\/p>\n<p>Rosie said: \u201cZagreb brings to mind sandy beaches by day and partying with friends by night thanks to an attractively low price pint.
