Police in the US have launched a manhunt after a six-year-old boy was fatally shot through his bedroom window while playing on his bed in Lynchburg, Virginia.<\/p>\n

The unidentified individuals were captured on CCTV on Monday (May 1 )firing through the bedroom window before fleeing on foot.<\/p>\n

Six-year-old Kingston Cambell was pronounced dead at the scene, as police launch a manhunt to catch his killers.<\/p>\n

Mum Shay Fowler said in a statement that Kingston\u2019s young sisters were with him when the \u201csenseless shooting\u201d occurred.<\/p>\n

Paying tribute to her son, Ms Fowler said: \u201cHe was my weakness. My only son. My youngest child. I will never be the same again".<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, the horrifying footage appears to come from the property across the street from the home. <\/p>\n

The video shows crackles of gunfire towards the property before quickly making off on foot.<\/p>\n

Members of the community have hit out at the assailants, claiming the incident has left them \u201cfrustrated\u201d and \u201cfrightened\u201d.<\/p>\n

Antonio Davis, a board member with One Community One Voice, said such a shooting \u201ccould happen right beside anybody in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
