A creepy clown that has been stalking a village is back and has a "message for the nation."<\/p>\n

The masked character, wearing a Stephen King Pennywise-style outfit, has created a game "for the country to play in" after previously leaving riddles and clues for people in Skelmorlie, North Ayrshire and across Scotland to solve.<\/p>\n

In a video, he \u2013 if it is a he \u2013 has highlighted a number of landmarks across Scotland and is urging people to visit them and take pictures of their "scariest faces" as part of a creepy game.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow \u2013 well known due to the iconic traffic cone on its head \u2013 is one of the hotspots, along with Edinburgh Castle, Ben Nevis and Loch Ness. The games are expected to run up to Halloween.<\/p>\n

Addressing their identity in the latest video, the clown rhymed: "Many have tried and all have failed. The Skelmorlie clown will never be unveiled." A previous game saw villagers find a small black cash box with a mirror inside with "clown" written on it.<\/p>\n
