US President Joe Biden has been taken to task over his administration’s failure to stop China from being able to “leapfrog” the US with their nuclear capabilities. In August the Chinese military was able to launch a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile, US Senator Lindsey Graham described reports of the launch, if correct, as “the biggest game-changer in the last 40 years.”
Fox News host Hannity said: “We’re watching now hypersonic missiles that are have nuclear capability being fired around the globe, and talk of reunification with China and Chinese fighter jets flying over Taiwan airspace Joe does nothing.
“Why should the Chinese fear, Joe Biden. I don’t see any reason why they would.”
Senator Graham replied: “Well, what does it matter to the people at home listening to this programme if, in fact, the Chinese have developed hypersonic missiles that can deliver a nuclear weapon is a military game-changer when it comes to nuclear forces.
“We’ve allowed the Chinese to leapfrog us, and we’re going to have to do one of two things get them to stand down and I don’t know how Joe Biden convinces anybody to stand down.

“If they don’t stand down we’re going to have to develop a capability to neutralise this and one-up China,” He continued.
“So when you have the Joe Biden greatest hitlist broken border, rise of terrorism, rampant inflation, you can now put on the list, nuclear arms race with China, which we’re losing.
“Weakness breeds aggression, and I’m going to ask the Senate leadership and Schumer and McConnell to brief the entire body on whether or not this story is true.
“If this is true. The Chinese have developed this capability is the biggest game-changer in the last 40 years when it comes to our nuclear.
China 'hijacking' the UK's 'green agenda' says Nawaz
It follows warnings that Chinese President Xi Jinping may choose to escalate the conflict with Taiwan in order to shore up China’s communist regime amid internal instability, Sky News Australia host Catherine McGregor has warned.
Ms McGregor believes the Chinese regime would suffer “horrific casualties” in any military invasion of the Western-allied island.
She told Sky News Australia: “They are spending enormous amounts of their money on surveillance and intrusive surveillance of their population.
“This is a sign of a regime bent on survival and does feel threatened internally.

“That could make them more rash rather than less rash, that is the worry because there has been a large element in Xi’s behavior of using external foes, imagined and real to consolidate regime survival.”
She continued: “The other thing that they have to contemplate in a cross-straits operation is the Taiwanese no precisely what beaches they have to cross.
“They have been practicing defending them for 40 years they will inflict horrific casualties on the PLA no matter what leads into it.
“The fact is with a nation that has had a one-child policy privileging sons you start sending those single sons of families home in body bags and lets see what happens internally.”
