Terrifying footage has shown a huge fire erupting in from the same Beirut port where a deadly explosion ripped through the city last month.
Videos circulating online show plumes of black smoke filling the sky above the region in the Lebanese capital.
One clip apparently from the scene shows workers who had been trying to repair the devastated port running for their lives.
Twitter user @gravejonesmusic shared the video just moments ago.
He wrote: “This is the Beirut port right now. The nightmare continues. Open all your windows and stay away from them.”
Local reporter Leila Molana-Allen has said the fire department believes the blaze is getting out of control.
People in the vicinity have been ordered to evacuate the region.
The Lebanese army say the fire broke out in a warehouse full of oils and tyres in Beirut Port’s Free Zone. Operations to extinguish it have begun and army helicopters are helping in the operation.
The terrifying incident comes just five weeks after a devastating blast ripped through the city in Lebanon.
At least 190 people were killed when a large amount of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse exploded.
A further 6,500 people were injured and more than 300,000 people were left homeless.
Such was the size of the explosion, it was felt more than 160 miles away in Cyprus.
It was considered one of the most powerful non-nuclear explosions in history.
Following the horrific incident, protesters took to the street demanding to know why the dangerous explosives were being held.
