Aurora homicide investigators look for car in January shooting

Homicide investigators in Aurora are asking for the public’s help in locating a car connected to a shooting in January.

Aurora police are looking for a dark gray car, believed to be a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, linked to an early-morning Jan. 30 shooting in the 1500 block of Dallas Street, according to a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers tweet.

A resident on the block was having a party when a driver pulled up about 4:55 a.m. and suspects got out of the car and fired shots at the home, according to the Aurora Police Department. Two people inside were hit by gunfire and one of the victims died.

Police are looking for the owner of the vehicle, suspects who fired weapons, and anyone who attended the party who has not talked with investigators. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call crime stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
