At least ‘seven people shot at park including teens in mass casualty shooting’

At least seven people have been shot, including teenagers, at a park in Miami, Florida, according to reports.

It's believed that the incident happened shortly after 6.30pm (11.30pm GMT), on Sunday evening.

Andy Slater, talk show host on Fox and iHeart Radio tweeted: "At least seven people, including teenagers, were shot at Little River Park in Miami, law enforcement sources tell me."

No details have been provided about the 'active shooter' following the "mass casualty incident," according to Intel Point Breaking News.

Miami-Dade Police tweeted: "PIO is responding to a scene of a shooting with multiple victims in the area of 10525 NW 25 Avenue.

"Estimated time of arrival of 45 minutes.

"More information to follow."

The force later clarified the ETA was for the Media Relations Detectives to respond, but officers are already on the scene.

It's understood the fire service is at the scene alongside police and emergency services.
